You will need a few other mods before you install.

Here you need:

Modloader download You must login or register to view this content.

AudioMod: You must login or register to view this content.


GUI API: You must login or register to view this content.


Copy all these files into your minecraft.jar, for example:

Once you have copied these over backup your minecraft.jar and begin to install mo-creatures.

1. Make a backup of your minecraft.jar file
2. Open your minecraft.jar file using winrar or similar
3. copy all the files and folders from "\minecraft\" to the root of the minecraft.jar file
4. Delete the META-INF folder of minecraft.jar
5. Close and save your minecraft.jar
6. locate the .minecraft\resources\ (where you have installed minecraft)
7. look inside the "\resources\", copy all its contents to the folder .minecraft\resources\ (make sure you are not adding this to the minecraft.jar file).
8. Play

Heres the picture of the resources folder mentioned in the tutorial above. Copy the folder 'mod' in the download into this folder. This adds the sounds of the animals.

Once you copied the files into you minecraft.jar and the sound files you should be set.

I am not responsible to anything that happens to your minecraft, I am hoping to make it a bit simpler for people as I know this is a frustrating mod to install.


If you have any errors check the minecraft thread on it, there maybe a problem with the mod.

Make sure to leave it a night for mobs ect to spawn.
