What a year for Sony! From facing hackers to revealing the NGP and PlayStation Phone, there's even more coming out soon! Supposedly a PlayStation Tablet is in the works now!

Again Sony will be working with Google to make this Android-based tablet device with the code name, "S1". Sony's goal is to combine the best of all worlds by bringing video, music and ebook digital services.

The device is said to come with preloaded PlayStation 1 classics, just like the PS Phone.

The design of this device is said to be rather sleek as well. The tablet has a folded design for better grip. However there is no official picture for it and the picture above will look nothing like the final product.

A Wall Street Journal said:

the PlayStation phone won’t be the only device that supports PlayStation as a primary or secondary function, a second device was mentioned. This second device is likely to be the tablet; the description stated that the device will "blur distinctions among a netbook, an e-reader and a PlayStation Portable."

Earlier in the year CES, PlayStation boss Kaz Hirai, did mention that they plan on releasing a line of Sony tablets. They did state that the device will “incorporate video, music, games and book offerings on our Qriocity and our PlayStation Network services to deliver a compelling, unique experience for Sony across a wide range of consumer electronic devices."

Will you buy this tablet? Or is the iPad good enough and companies should just stop?

I think instead of bringing all these things out in a close space they should focus individually and make them better, maybe un-hackable!
