(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just post below what you play on. Also please say if its Alpha or Beta.

Alpha is where you actually use your own ip address and is more complex.
You can read more about Alpha server clients You must login or register to view this content.

Classic is the one where you have a minecraft.net/play.jsp url
You can view a list of Classic servers You must login or register to view this content.

I currenty am waiting for the NGUminers files from Coltz since I am taking on the server now.

OK, lets clear up a few things. There is Classic and Beta, the classic version of minecraft is played in the browser. The beta version can be played both on a browser or through the downloadable client. And my thread about the minecraft 1.3 beta has nothing to do with Alpha server clients.

Alpha and Beta are the same thing...

To clear it up more.

Alpha/Beta servers you have to gain items by mining. It is more like single player where it takes time to mine and you build your own tools.

Classic is where you login and there is different worlds like freebuild portal etc. You have all the blocks in your inventory you can pick one by pressing "B". It also does not require any gathering or creating tools. The blocks break instantly as you hit them.

Let's clear up things even more shall we? :mudkip:
Alpha/Beta servers are called SMP (Survival Multiplayer). Since Beta is the successor of alpha it is no longer used. (Alpha -> Beta -> Full version of the game)
