(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Today I'm showing you how to install mods on a mac, as on windows you just have to drop them in the minecraft.jar with winzip.

Now, to begin, download the following mods (If you have an up-to-date version - 1.3 as of now - wait for them to update.)

You must login or register to view this content.
You must login or register to view this content.
You must login or register to view this content.

Good, you finished the first step. Claps

Now, unarchive all 3 .RARs.
You must login or register to view this content.

When you're done, it should look just like this :P You can now delete the .rars.
You must login or register to view this content.

Now open a new finder window (CMD+N) and find your way to:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft where ~ is your name. For me it would be vlad/library/application support/minecraft
You must login or register to view this content.

Now drag MoCreatures.properties in your /minecraft folder (root folder, don't drag it on /bin or /resources.
You must login or register to view this content.

Now it should look like this
You must login or register to view this content.

Now, where you unzipped your files, you should see a folder called "folders to add to resources". Expand that and drag the folder "mod" into minecraft/resources.
You must login or register to view this content.

Congrats ! Copying this over will allow animal sounds to work, so if you don't want to hear some ****ing bear / lion raping you or that damn flame wraith in your basment then dont install it.

You must login or register to view this content.

Now, to configure witch and witch not mobs will spawn, open MoCreatures.properties with TextEdit and add a # in front of the ones you dont want, then just save and exit.

Now you can close the /minecraft/ window.

On to You must login or register to view this content. (You can download it from the sidebar of the website).
Open the program then press "new" on the bottom left.
You must login or register to view this content.

Now type a name for what you want your modpackage to be called (Don't worry, you can change that later!)
You must login or register to view this content.

Click the + button and select "Add Folder"
You must login or register to view this content.

Find you way to the folder that you unzipped the .rars from the beginning of this guide and select "Files to inject to minecraft.jar" and then click (Open):

You must login or register to view this content.

PROTIP:Before adding it, rename it so it has "MoCreatures -" in front of it, that way you can keep track of witch mods you have / haven't got installed.

Now it should look all like this.
You must login or register to view this content.

Do the same things with AudioMod and ModLoader, and it should all look like this.
You must login or register to view this content.

Now press the save button, and save it where the default location is (Should be a folder called packages)

You should get a pop up window that says the file has been saved SUCCESSFULLY, if you don't, you've done something wrong.

Now click the (Close) button on the bottom right and you should be back at the main Minecrafter window.
Press (Launch Minecraft) and select Temporary. (You can also select Permanent, but that's not recommanded because if your .jar gets damaged you need to delete your /bin/ and do the same shit again. With temporary you launch minecraft through minecrafter then when you're done playing it reverts what you did (world remains) and the /bin/ is just like new.)

Also, as of 24 FEB. It's working, altrough the MoCreatures mod isn't updated yet.

Don't quote large posts. Also, don't you realise that even if you're using his mod manager it's the same thing? Minecrafter is also a mod manager /facepalm. You would still have to add /mod/ and MoCreatures.properties, aswell as add Audiomod and ModLoader to it.

Failmuch?

calm down bro I was just saying that for some mods it's easier to use that mod manager. Sometimes you just have to select the file wait for a minute and that's it/
