where is the notepad document i have to open ? i downloaded and put it on the destop but it doesnt have a notepad file?

When you run the .exe file you put it in a folder.

After, run the exe file and it downloads all the necessary files to run the server.

In the folder will be the server properties.

ok i got it to run but when i go to spawn i just fall and keep on falling?

You have to make sure the world is loaded. Restart the server and join again.

ok still having the same problem? i started the minecraft sever waited 5-10 minutes and joined the server... when i spawn i fall and i pass a few objects but just keep on falling?

It's loading chunks. Just wait a bit >.<
