I've PMed him to ask if this is 100% honest or not, if he in reality did only scam one person, as I don't know the whole back story to it. But, if it is honest, then I respect him.

Guys, it takes a lot of courage to man up to a mistake you've made and humble yourself by apologizing. He put himself out there for you guys, and apologized. Now, I can't tell if he is being sincere or not, but as far as I can tell, he is sorry for what he has done in the past, now hopefully that will carry into the future.

But, on that note, guys, I'm asking you to not flame him for this. I've been in a position before where I was wrong and needed to apologize, and it is hard to do. You put yourself up for ridicule and harsh comments, when in reality all you are trying to do apologize for a wrong in the past.

So, if not out of respect for him, then out of respect for me, please don't flame him. And, if you don't have enough respect for me to not flame him, then please don't flame him just because you know it is wrong to flame someone who is trying to apologize. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone, I think, deserves a second chance.

GranTurismo12, I will be the first to say I accept your apology. While what you did was wrong, like I said, everyone makes mistakes. I hope you do not make any more mistakes in the future, but the past is the past, and it can't be changed, so I will forgive and forget about it.

The problem is in a Forum like this, when one member gets scammed all the other Members pull out the daggers and send them your direction.
It's that simple, but, you know that now!

I did things a little differently!
I only really started posting on here in December, after I bought GT5, the 50 post trading limit was imposed within days of me starting to post, so, I was exempt from the trading section for a long time.
Even though I was tempted to post crap to get the post count up, I didn't do it, just waited patiently and posted as I should have.
I played the game and built my car collection up.
I gave away 8 cars as prizes for the 2nd GT5 Photo Competition,
I am to give 6 cars and 20 Paints away for the 3rd GT5 Photo Competition and have a decent Trading Post with many thanks from those I traded with to date. (It was a LOT better before Update 1.07!)

Perhaps you could give (NOT TRADE) a car or two away as prizes for the next Photo Competition?
It may help that seriously negative reputation you have at the minute!

One thing to remember though, just because he has made this thread doesn't mean he won't scam again.
