Banned on Black Ops? Well maybe you posted a derogatory statement on the Call of Duty forums that upset the company. Because that's what EA did.

A gamer posted a message on BioWare's forums referring to EA as the devil. Shortly after that, he got punished for using "bad language" with a ban from Dragon Age II. Yeah you read correctly. He was a bad boy on the forums and got banned on a game.

During his 72 hour suspension he couldn't play Dragon Age II due to the fact that he needed his suspended account to activate it. The only response he got from BioWare, was a copy and paste of their terms and services of its forums.

EA shortly revoked the ban, probably because of all the outraged gamers responding to the situation. EA says the ban was "mistake" and he should have only been banned from the forums instead of every game that requires an EA account.

If EA messed up on something as dumb as this, I wouldn't be shocked to see how many people Activision "accidentally" banned off Black Ops. My friend for example, he never hacks, never boosts, never glitches, and he got perma-banned of his account.

Gaming companies really need to pay more attention to what's actually going on, rather than just throwing out bans. Look into cases more for Christ's sake!

Do a barrel roll!
Just read about this. Damn, sucks that they can ban you from accessing stuff you paid for just for voicing an opinion on their forum...
