I just played the BETA Today, and I thought I was playing SOCOM4 but I guess I playing some game with some UC3/ CoD / GoW / Ghost Recon / MAG features, Sorry but I want to play a SOCOM


No Push To Talk
No Pistols
No Demo
No lean
No Grenade Arc
Exp
Bloody screen
No True Classic Modes

It only does everything we didn't ask for. Thx Zipper for an other EPIC FAIL MAG and "listnening" to the true hardcore gamers that made socom 1-2 so epic. Now i guess little kids with their parents can play this game with shiny moves.

Everyone Know why to not buy it .

There's going to be glitches It's the beta.

But anyways, I've been watching some beta footage and it looks like a good game. Sure it is missing some things, but is rather have them change some stuff and make the game miss some good features than just put the same game out again. Now, the lean being taken out is dumb, that's a feature that should be in classic mode.

I just dont like socum simple as that.

wait till you play it, no claymore detonator (COD style with LAZZZZER!!!!) No RECOIL , Throwing a nade is just :derp: , So many noobs out there, but glitch and bug, i know its a "BETA" .... but its not, i remember having Diablo 1 BETA and the game wasnt releash 3 week's later.... so SOCOM4 "BETA" is actualy a "DEMO"

Look, that video points out some stuff, but I think people are focusing too much on the bad. A little bit of change is fine, I agree that dual primaries is a bit overpowered, and the removal of lean is dumb, but other than that, the things that are being changed aren't too bad. I think it will still be a very good game, just because it is different from SOCOM 2 doesn't mean it is going to fail.

I will, however, hold off on my final opinion until I try out the beta, and see how these changes all work together. Although I am excited for this game, and am being very optimistic about it.

but i don't think this game goin to WIN like Charlie Sheen, its goin to Fail just like M.A.G. MAG FAILED sooo i don't see why this game would'nt when its the same bull shit.
Anyways this game will be destroyed in seconds by a new trailer/announcement/release from CoD,BF,GoW,UC3 and many others just like MAG, i got 100 Friends and 30% own the game and last about 15weeks around.... till MW2 show up.

I keep watching these gameplay on youtube, without thinking of SOCOM 1-2 and i still find it SOMAG, and when i watch the new BF3 Trailer i alrdy forget about "SOCOM4"

I agree, BF3 looks amazing. But, and you can hopefully relate to this, I started online gaming with SOCOM, loved it, everything about it. I was a third person shooter fan before I was a FPS fan. I will try out the beta, but I think I will end up liking the game. As I said, a few changes aren't always necessarily bad. If there is enough want from the community for things like pistols, I think they will patch it in, as Zipper sounds like they will listen to their community.

But you may be right about it, I hope your not, and I think you hope you're not as well, as you seem like you are a long-time SOCOM fan like me.

I have played socom since its original debut on PS2. Saying this, I will definitely buy the game regardless of what many choose to say. All in all it seems to be a series I enjoy and therefore worth the purchase.

i just hope its a Prank, but at the same time when i learn that Seth Luisi was there...... :n:
