This April fools (April 1, 2011), Sony Computer Entertainment America also known as the SCEA, will become Sony Network Entertainment America Inc. SNEA. Soon after they make the name change, you will be asked to agree with their new TOS upon signing in. If you don't agree with their new "Terms of Serivice" they will close your account and refund all PSN funds.

They've been sending out emails to inform all with a PlayStation Network account on what's going on. Here's what it says in case you didn't get it:

Was going to pm you but i can't
Anywho your news is wrong

SCEA not changing their name they are changing who provides PSN services etc
Up till now PSN in the US been provided by SCEA the store and wallet.

Not long ago sony setup a network division within sony. Which deals with Qriocity music/video streaming service.
This bit of news means that SCEA no longer has control over PSN but SNEA within SCEA.

Guess the reason is sony does not see the point of two companies providing a service from PSN.
