For the idiots claiming to have hacked this game. I am here too assure the scene they are lying. YOU FAIL!

I have "hacked" the beta game, the only problem is getting it modded and getting the game to work. No telling exactly how long i will have completely hacked the entire game, and get it fully working. I am still to this day having legal problems, and now that spring is rolling around i have been working alot more. Since i wont be around a lot i will supply some helpful information to those who know what to do with it. Waiting for official release too see what changes and if there is any security at all.

You don't have to come at me like that, im not going to supply files then, i wont release what i have now then. I will just simply release information to get peeps started. However i will not tell them what to do. As long as zipper keeps up on this game like they did with the older socoms the game will be fine, But the first time they slip up and piss me off its over.

The Game is on boys i have successfully managed too figure out what zipper is doing, i had some free time off today and within a half hour i already have a few mods successfully booting up with no freeze or errors....

It plans to make public MOD of SOCOM4 in the end of April in the Japan time.

yuuki that isn't a mod that is a glitch. The files that are needed are NPD and the method for that has not been released. The picture i showed is a map out of scripts and the files you guys claim to mod are like maps, modding these will get you guys no where, also i know it is a glitch because if you were modding the health values your health bar would not stay in place.

A little heads up for those of you who think you can post "i have modded the game" there are server side hash checks. In other words you wont be able to play a public match. Basically there is no getting around this "detection" without having everything unpacked, decrypted and tottaly mapped out.

And waiting on me too release a mod is the wrong idea because that wont happen for a while. After the shit everybody pulled last time and with the previous socoms Aint no body getting shit from me but a few words of wisdom.

Faking gets no one respect and eventually that person will get caught, so everyones best bet would be too shut the **** up before i start calling people out like i did with the supposed DEVS on ps3hax.

For those of you serious about modding socom 4, i want you guys too stop thinking like hackers for a while and start thinking like a programmer, i want you too take the time out to study the game and get a feel of what the developers have put together. That is the only way you will know what is going on and where too start when you figure out the "pattern"

so what exactly did they claim to mod(file wise)? Lag switching isnt a mod so they shouldnt have called it that. As far as the NPD encryption, do you think using Graf's scripts in linux would work?

im trying my best to leave hints for you guys, there is a way around all this checking bullshit, but like i said you guys need to think as if you are a programmer instead of a hacker. Take your time to look at each and every file, take the time to compare already scripted files with a resource file. It isn't about modding any more this is a game of trickery and hide and seek. It is about searching for holes and abusing them. Trust me i have been hacking zipper games since 2002 i know just about all of there moves we have had them in check for a long time in this game of chess for you guys the method i am hinting about will get patched, then its a matter of me getting bored with the game and releasing the few tools i already have to get it done. I believe in open source knowledge however im no queer and i refuse to hold a persons hand.

I think I know what ur saying Deft. Its hard to stray away from thinking a certain way, but a few redirects (if thats what ur hinting about) shouldn't be too difficult.
