EA/Dice had setup a booth in C2E2 showing some features of Battlefield 3. Details about the new melee system were revealed. CERFY was there to witness the new features and commented:

I remember the knife feeling more like a hatchet in BF2. It kind of had a clunky feel when you went to melee someone.
Sniping in BF2 is still amazing... Love how you actually have to make adjustments to your aim depending on distance from target. Few friends hate it because of that, but I still think it is kick ass.
