"Game of the year?" You may ask yourself. Is it?
Well I think so. And so does many other people from NGU and over the entire world.

The first thing that hits me is that Crysis 2 is a game with quality-feeling. When the Introvideo goes over the screen, and a man in a nanosuit stands and shoots the helicopters from his hip with a 12,7 mm machine-gun, while the surround system literally paints Hans Zimmers magnificent music in the living room at high volume - then the neck hairs of even the most blasé person shooter enthusiast himself.

SP starts out a little slow but picks up, MP has some of the most addicting gameplay I have seen since Cod4. I am actually considering rebooting(prestige) which I didn't do in any Cod
It has a chance. I love the game and it is by far the best shooter I have played in recent memory but there are still a lot of games to come out that I need to try.
Portal 2 could be epic =D

There is an extra who allows the player (stupid camper) collect the dog tag automaticly

Hope that portal 2 isn't as short as the first episode. But it would be a fun game.

Of course it should be. But thats exactly why it wont be. They NEVER seem to choose the games that should be chosen. Battlefield 3 should definitely not be chosen its the most unimaginative game ever. Im totally and utterly sick of war games in the present or "near future" because its ALL the same and its reallllly boring now.

Did you look at the 12 minutes trailer? This is porn, you can't say it won't be an awesome game.

TBH I'm waiting till GoW3, Uncharted 3 and BF3 to come out before you can give this GOTY at all. UC3 looks AMAZING and if the campaign is anywhere near as good as UC2 it will win some gaming awards hands down. BF3 looks great so far, hopefully they don't try to beat CoD by marketing but by making a better game and GoW3 just has a massive fan base because Gears of War is simply just that good. One of these 3 titles should take the GOTY crown unless Portal 2 just pips them all cause of its unique charms and humour.
