According to Markus Persson aka Notch's twitter, the 1.5 update for Minecraft has been delayed. Notch's reason being the lack of time to fully test it. "The 1.5 delay is because of the feature creep. We don't have time to test it all in time for tomorrow," Notch stated.
Minecraft players are still getting to the recent 1.4 update which came launched in March, but the 1.5 update it coming soon. However, there is no exact date fitting its release. The update will due a couple things:
<li> Weather/functioning weather system.
<li> Allows the tracking of achievements and stats.
The weather is what most people are looking forward to, and as Notch stated, "MUOAHAHA! Thunder Storms lower the brightness. That means daytime monsters during storms. This is freakily atmospheric."
