For those of you who wish to know how to add, remove, or change what appears on the main menu for Minecraft, then this guide is for you. ( I don't know if this works in the browser but I know it works on the downloadable client).

To start, you must have Minecraft downloaded.
Go to My Computer.
Go to Folder Options.
Check, "Show Hidden Folders and Files" and Click Accept and Apply to all folders".
You must login or register to view this content.
Go to your Main Disc. C:/
Go to My Documents and Settings
Click on the folder that contains your name "PAPA ROACH"
Once in you should see a folder that is transparent that says "Application Data". Click that.
Find .Minecraft
Go into Bin
You should see a Jar file called "Minecraft", right click it and open with Winrar.
Find the folder that says Title and go into there.
Open Splashes.txt
Add, Remove, or Change the text.
Save.
Then go back to the winrar and accept the changes.
(If you get something like MissingNo, delete your Meta INF folder).

You must login or register to view this content.

Thank you.

If you are having issues, delete the META-INF folder and it should work. I don't know if this works in the browser!

Fun fact:

On Notch's and his girlfriends birthday the splashtext says: "happy birthday, Notch!", "Happy birthday, ez!" and also at Christmas and new years eve, it displays: "Happy new year!", "Merry X-mas!"
