Could you possibly provide just a bit more information? Texture as in a texture pack, or as in one specific texture (ex. wood block texture)?

If it's for a texture pack, how does it simplify it anymore when Minecraft provides an option to switch texture packs on the main screen?

Would just like to know a bit more before downloading :\

sorry yes ill update when i get back tomorrow but yes mc does provide that but this will reduce the lag of minecraft since it is patching the actual minecraft files.
