Some servers will take a while to get back up if they used bukkit. You could wait and play a bit of singleplayer or just downgrade to 1.4_01 to play on the servers.

I don't think so but it should be soon, in future I suggest keeping a backup jar so you can downgrade to connect to servers.

Yes and some other one.
"Internal exception: java.SocketException: Connection reset"

I don't have a server but notch said all servers have to be updated so it will probably take some time for the owner of the server to update it.

I have a 1.4 jar that will connect to the servers you would just need to copy it in your bin folder.

If any of you want it I'll upload it to mediafire if my internet doesn't fail on me.
