Sony chief information officer, Shinji Hasejima gave us some hard to believe info in the Tokyo press conference such as the company being fully aware of the "vulnerabilities" in PlayStation Network.

In the interview, Hasejima stated:

“We thought we had taken enough management and control measures (to ensure the network was secure), but looking back, there might have been room for further enhancement,” Shiro Kambe added, “We have to admit we were not fully sufficient.”

That's disturbing to hear in my opinion. If you're a big company like Sony, you CAN'T gamble with your security and just be satisfied with it, only to later realize their could've been room for improvement.
