I need help port forwarding so that people may connect to my server. I am able to get on it fine, but others say they cant connect.
Please tell me what i need to put in what places!!!!!!
When i go to cmyip.com this is what i get: 71.75.138.196
Ipv4: 192.168.0.9
Default gateway is: 192.168.0.1
[ATTACH=CONFIG]9127[/ATTACH]

i see the problem already. yur static which is your ipv4 is only to .9 and your default is .1
but first off all let me tell you this. you dont need to port forward your router if you have UPNP enabled. and if you have nat type open for black ops and then you already have your router port forwarded.
2nd of all. your numbers are all messed up. go make a static ip. and make it 192.168.1.100 and your default is gateway is 71.75.138.196
3rd go to canyouseeme.org and type in the port your looking for and it should tell you if the port is open. i can help you more if you tell me exactly what your forwarding or what port you want connecting to your computer.
hope this help if not ask again with the new finding with these new settings

ok so i enabled that uPNP thing. Now how do i exactly make a static ip???
