It looks as if Sony's words were false. On Sunday, they announced that some PSN services will be up and running this week. However, a delay is now confirmed. Sony's Patrick Seybold stated that the return of the PSN has been pushed back to an unspecified date. Patrick noted, "When we held the press conference in Japan last week, based on what we knew, we expected to have the services online within a week. We were unaware of the extent of the attack on Sony Online Entertainment servers, and we are taking this opportunity to conduct further testing of the incredibly complex system." Although he did not directly say that the PSN won't be back this week, it was implied. He closed with an apology and reassuring statement by saying, "trust me when I say we're doing everything we can to make it happen." Now, I'm not too familiar with the things they have to do, but as long as they are trying what's in their power to regain their order, I'll be patient. Will you?

I hate it when people tell me stuff, as if I am stupid and will believe their bullshit. Now I'm starting to see Sony trying to get away with it. I could accept their excuses up to a point, but now they've past it and I am starting to get annoyed at them pissing all over us and saying it's rain.

Would rather they took as much time they need, I'm as angry as the next person but I'd rather have them make sure that this wouldn't happen in the Future.

Patience is a virtue... I'd rather them get it right then rush the re-launch only for it to be down again in 2 weeks. Because if it goes down a 2nd time I'm gonna buy a 360
