We've all heard of Sony's "Welcome Back" program, but one question troubles us: When will we get these consolations?

Nick Caplin – Head of Communications, SCEE, shed some light on this important matter. He said that the promised gifts will be given once the PSN store is back up. Even though PSN is back up, it is still missing a lot; in fact, the PSN store is one of the missing factors.

He went on to note that the PSN Blog will be the best place to check for the most recent updates regarding this whole mess of issues. So, gamers be patient, your rewards are on the way. I mean, we went for 24 days without our beloved PSN. Some of us were driven to the edge and even made the dark switch to the Xbox, but many of us remained loyal. For now, you guys can rekindle your relationship with the PSN.

Good news guys! According to Steve Reynolds (PlayStation Store Operations Manager on PSN) on twitter, the store will be up 'soonish'. By which he means before the end of the month! Happy

gifts for me arent important, besides...to me, it feels like a buy off from sony..and the gifts are meaningless if you a loyal psn player...like me. i hope people dont try to take advantage of this situation and ask for more more more..

Glad to hear. ill accept any gifts for my patience, but i wish we would be able to select what we want. whether that be map packs for a game we own. or themes etc.
