According to reports from Variety, Ubisoft is working on making 3D feature films for critically acclaimed games Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon. The three projects are being handled by Ubisoft Motion Pictures, the publisher's film and TV production team.
Ubisoft Motion Pictures is being ran by Jean-Julien Baronnet, along with Didier Lupfer, senior VP of production and development, and Jean de Rivieres, senior VP of international marketing and distribution.

It's no shock seeing this catch the interest of US studios knowing these are the three of the biggest gaming franchises of all time.

Yeah I don't really like the 3D either. Hopefully they also have it in 2D normal. Then it would be worth a watch.
