(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so i followed all the instruction on how to set up a server using portforward. Now how do I get on my server? where do i get the ip address from? and how do I make myself admin.

I did that however I tried my ip address and it didn't work?

If typing localhost in does not work that means you've done something wrong. Re read the tutorial.

Localhost works fine. I just cannot get my ip to work so my friends can connect. Anyone have a solution to this?

For your friends to connect, they should type the number you found on cmyip.com. if they cant connect, that means youve port forwarded wrong.

So my friends should type my ip address and :25565 after it? or?

well. they should be able to just type the IP without :25565. The :25565 is a port number and is selected by default. Unless you changed what port you are using in "server.properties"
