Post: Minecraft Ultimate Mod Collection [All Versions]
05-29-2011, 09:09 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have quite a few mods, both single player and multiplayer and I thought that I would post an ultimate collection of all of the main/important mods that people use daily when playing.

I will be updating this thread as much and as best as I can.

[multipage=downloads ]

Here I will post all of the download links for the mods for you all to download.

These will be all compatible with the latest version unless I say here even 1.6.5 so no need to ask.

Anything with an *M* beside It means that It needs Modloader Beta installed already, or else the mod will not work.

[multipage=Installation Tutorials ]

These are the tutorials for installing the mods for the people that don't have a clue how to install them.

Well first off you will all need to know how to access the ".minecraft" folder and to do this you will need to go to "start" and in the search or run bar type in "%appdata%" then hit enter and It will take you to a list of folders and this is where ".minecraft" will be.

Also for every mod you are installing you will need to delete the "META-INF" folder which is located inside the minecraft.jar file.

Zombe Mod Pack:

-So first off you will need to go to your .minecraft folder. Then click into the "bin" folder and once there you will need to right click on the minecraft.jar file and open with an extracter like "WINRAR" or "7zip".

-Then you will need to obviously delete the "META-INF" folder. And then copy and replace all the files in the classes folder into the minecraft.jar file.

-Then go back to the root (the start) of the .minecraft folder and create a folder called "mods" then in that folder make a folder called "zombe" then in that folder copy all of the .txt files from the config folder into here.

-Then zombe is installed.

TooManyItems Inventory Edit:

So basically just locate the .minecraft folder, open up the bin folder, then open up the minecraft.jar file with "WINRAR" and then copy and replace all of the "CLASS" files over to it.

Then your done, It's installed.

ModLoader Beta:

So again for this just locate the .minecraft folder, open the bin folder, open the minecraft.jar file with "WINRAR" and then just copy and replace over the "CLASS" files and then It's installed

Element Arrows Beta:

For this just use the exact same way as the ModLoader Installation.

*NOTE* for this you need to have ModLoader installed before installing this.

Shelf Beta:

For this just use the exact same way as the ModLoader Installation.

*NOTE* for this you need to have ModLoader installed before installing this.

Sign Tags Beta:

For this just use the exact same way as the ModLoader Installation.

Single Player Commands:

For this just use the exact same way as the ModLoader Installation.
But also copy the WorldEdit.jar file into the .bin directory.

Skin Reload Mod:

For this just use the exact same way as the ModLoader Installation.

Optimine + Optifog Lag Reduction Mod:

For this just use the exact same way as the ModLoader Installation.

[multipage=Explanation of Each Mod ]

Zombe Mod Pack:

This is a collection of many different mods including what It's famous for, the FLY MOD.

TooManyItems Inventory Edit:

This is an inventory edit mod which opens a new menu next to your inventory when you open It with every item in minecraft on it. And you just click the Item you want and It will spawn directly into your inventory. This also works in Multiplayer.

ModLoader Beta:

This is a Mod that is kind of like a mod manager, that stops conflicts with mods that alter rendering, recipes, add entities, gui, smeltables or fuel.

Element Arrows Beta:

The Elemental Arrows mod adds four new types of arrows; explosive arrows, fire arrows, ice arrows, and a joke weapon, egg arrows.. They are crafted the same way as normal arrows, but the head is replaced based on the element; gunpowder for explosive, coal for fire, snowball for ice, and egg for, well, egg. Crafting an explosive arrow only gives you one arrow, and it explodes upon impact. Crafting a fire arrow gives you one arrow, that will ignite stuff upon impact. Crafting an ice arrow gives you one arrow, that will freeze water into ice, lava springs into obsidian, put out fire, and break torches. Egg arrows spawn chickens upon impact with the ground, but there's a secret too. Lightning arrows strike lightning where ever they hit, use diamond in recipe. Homing bow recipe is same layout as regular bow, but diamond instead of sticks. This Requires ModLoader Beta.

Shelf Beta:

Ever wanted to store your items in a way you can see them? Here you go. This block allows you to add up to 9 items to it and the items you put in are shown in the world. This Requires ModLoader Beta.

Sign Tags Beta:

Type [time] into a sign, and it will show the current time. You can also type [x], [y], or [z] and find the current position of the sign in regards to that axis. [a|b] is a redstone input function for signs, where text replacing 'a' will be shown when the sign is powered, otherwise 'b' is shown. Type [light], and it will show you the current light level of the sign's position. [biome], [temp], [humid] each tell you the biome you're in, the temperature of that area, and the humidity of that area, respectively. [temp], [humid] will no longer function in Nether. [chunk] will tell you where to find the chunk file for this chunk.

Single Player Commands:

This is basically a mod that allows you to perform a numerous amount of mods in single player

Skin Reload Mod

This mod allows you to reload your skin in game. It's very useful for multiplayer as sometimes a glitch occurs where your skin resets to default.

Optimine + Optifog Lag Reduction Mod

This mod basically reduces minecraft lag by alot, If you have lag problems or that your computer doesn't meet the specs to run minecraft this mod will help you run It smoothly

[multipage=Conclusion ]

There are not that many mods in this thread yet but I will be updating this thread with more useful mods that I come across.

Also I will not be putting random mods in here only the useful and most used ones.

Please leave some feedback as this thread took a while to make.
