The smartest thing to do will not to update right now. Once this plugin is updated it should update your plugins. Its going to take about a week for everything to be updated to the latest version.

im just getting paranoid thinking i will be losing members
becuase i already see a few server that have the same plugin and ar on 1.6

You could always make a back up and use vanilla.
