So what is Football Club?
In basic summary, the game mode is said to be similar to the system which Need for Speed possesses. Stating this, daily, weekly, and monthly challenges will be issued towards gamers involved in the online service, in order to compete with everyone else playing the game. Though this is just simplistic information, much more is promised to be revealed as we ease to the time of title release.
Dave Rudder, line producer with EA Sports, insists this game mode will incorporate much social depth into an already ever-so-strong series. You will earn points for everything you do, be it playing online games with strangers, or a grudge match with friends. You will be able to compare your total XP in an on going competition with those around the world and even in your own backyard.
With all the information above, Rudder insists that those strong supporters of football will also take much interest into the online mode. What EA themselves are trying to do is develop a system where challenges are based on real life occurrences within the actual FIFA world. With this notion, challenges will arise which could possibly pit you against your favorite home club, or even scenarios where you guide them straight to glory. Rudder also added:

Whatever happens to the final product, gamers can rest assured they have the ability to test a rather large new feature in the upcoming FIFA 12 title.
Though not based around the mode itself, FIFA 12 will also integrate an new total impact engine. Shown in the video above is a demonstration and reworking of many aspects within the game. It seems as if EA has changed the way players interact with one another when contact occurs. Not only this, however, also coming is a revamped version of the likes and occurrences of an injury. Players will be critically examined when injured in order to truly asses their status. Not skipping a beat and looking very promising, this next generation of soccer seems as if it could very well be the sports game of the year.
I love the trailer, besides the fact that the worse musician ever was in there. Well, he may be ahead of Britney Spears, but only by this one extra period I will make.. <----
