Also I feel that the timing of the product release is bad. First of all when the Wii U is released it will be old soon when Playstation and the XBOX will be updated. Its like the situation now when the Wii doesn't have HD Graphics when comparing the the HD consoles.

I'm guessing the product will be $499 when released, if it is including the screen controller.

I think the Wii U will be amazing. Its not just a controller its much more than that, The Wii U is coming out in 2012?...Sony and Microsoft havent even come close to announcing new consoles yet. So It wont be outdated that fast. Obviously the console will include the screen controller and I'm estinating it to be aroud 350-400€ I dont know what that is in USD

The price in USD might be different. THE NGP is 249$ but also 249€. For the Wii-U I think 350-€ Is reasonable, I really think it looks amazing.

Remember when the Wii commercials debuted before it was released? You had to get out of the couch and really play along but in reality I can just sit on the couch and swing the controller to swing the tennis racquet.

Also I feel 575 dollars is too much. Especially with the economic downturn of the American economy, people won't buy this kind of stuff to drain their banks.

I think the Wii U is pretty awesome. It's a good time for release because the xbox360 and ps3 still have a lot of life in them and there is no reason for microsoft or sony to release a console anytime soon(probably 2014?). It's just that we know more about the controller than the console itself so that's why people are worrying. In my opinion, even though i know nintendo wanted to focus on the remote at e3, i thought that was a big mistake. They should have shown some menus or features of the new console AND remote and not just the remote itself. Whatever, nintendo hasn't disappointed me yet so let's see.

The screen controller won't be that expensive as its a resistive LCD screen.

During the nintendo conference the dev's stated that the wii u would be priced a little higher than the wii originally was. So we're looking at maybe 250-300 USD$. I'm more than willing to pay that for my wii u. I think it looks freakin amazing.
