Kim Crawford, a mother at the age of 21 from Bronx, New York, is being charged with murder and manslaughter of her own son. This incident began after the five year-old apparently "broke the television while playing Nintendo Wii." Crawford told the police a shocking statement, saying that she hit her son: "harder than I've ever hit him." However, the death of her poor son wasn't instant, but rather spanned across five days. This empty headed woman, whom I refuse to call a mother, was afraid of taking her own son to the hospital because of what she had done. Five days later, the helpless child passed away due to "massive internal injuries." Sadly, this family has had "domestic incidents" in the past. As tragic as this is, I hope this acts as a massive wake up call.

we have a Wii in my house, my mom bought it for my birthday, we still have an entertainment center for our TV, so the decision was made to purchase a sheet of LEXAN (basically expensive Plexiglas) both to keep kids from touching the TV, knocking it over and such, and to prevent any Wiimote related TV losses. the only drawback is we're royally screwed if we lose the remote. it takes a special breed to be able to get THAT mad at a child (we all know how troublesome and accident prone children are) over something that is a notorious problem. and another thing, where was the wriist strap? or even better, why was she not there making sure that he had the wrist strap on, or wasn't going to hurt himself playing the game? sad day either way.

I mean, that's not even something you joke about. A mother shouldn't kill her child over a simple possession such as a TV. People these days just don't know their limitations.

wow, a woman getting pissed about a broken tv, the tv was probably a black and white 15 incher anyway...but still...this is the reason people think video games cause violence, however..the real reason, is from dumbasses taking things too far. and going to insane levels, which is a brain issue, not a game issue. sad to see a kid die after playing a game and the tv breaking for some reason. that lady needs to be cattle prodded up the ass every day for life in prison.
