Last week Valve unleashed a line of free to play games on it's Steam network. This week it is revealed that Valve will no doubt be developing it's own free to play game, which was rumored to be Dota 2.
Well today Valve developer Robin Walker announced that Team Fortress 2 will be adopting the free to play game model.
Team Fortress 2 will now be completely free for download and will include an in game micro transaction system similar to other free to play games.

Now I am a bit confused as to whether this is the free to play title which Valve confirmed would be coming? Or if there is yet another free to play game coming from the Valve team. There has been no clarification on that aspect.
Are you happy to see this game adapting to a free to play model? Have you previously purchased the game?

Gonna be getting games there from now on 
oh well. Luckily I hadn't bought it like everyone else did.

Well the thing is, if you payed for the game, its not basically saying you wasted your money. It is because it is still an all around a great game no matter when you bought it...
