Crysis 2 is played by many hardcore gamers. There are players who wouldn't even touch a Call of Duty disk again after having picked up Crysis 2. Even with such a following for Crysis 2, there are many who had never picked up the first Crysis game on the PC and never would because they aren't PC gamers.
That will soon be changing for them, because it is as good as confirmed by the American ESRB and the Korean GRB (Game Rating Board), that the game is coming to both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The ESRB and GRB have added PS3 and Xbox 360 to the list of approved platforms for the game, which is rated M.
While many may not find the game to be anything special after having played Crysis 2, it will still be an opportunity to try the original and see where everything started.
EA has neither confirmed nor denied these claims. There is also no word yet on a possible release date.
