(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've edited some of the block class files in minecraft server and client. Testing both works perfectly. Replacing these files in the minecraft.jar file allows it to work on 1.7 beta, but I cant seem to get these files to work on my server. The server is on Fragnet.net and i've tried downloading the existing minecraft_server.jar, editing it with the files from the test server, and re-uploading, but this doesn't seem to work.

I can only find information on using client mods or installing existing mods on servers, so if anyone knows where there is good information on packaging and/or deploying homemade server mods, please post.

thanks!

Actually, i have been Happy

I found a few tutorials on how to use craftbukkit and just write my own mods in java. The specific thing I cant find, however, is how to override, alter, or replace a specific method in the net.minecraft.server.BlockRedstoneWire class.

I assure you, i'm not just posting and hoping to be given the code...I just want to know the appropriate direction to search. (specific keywords, site links, etc..)

thanks!
