Update your graphics card then.. common sense.
It may be able to run Minecraft fine, but how the **** do you know that when you are getting errors?

You need to update your video card drivers. Just find the video driver for your computer and download it and run and it should work fine.

I already tried updating mine, and it didn't work. I'm hoping I don't have to spend money anytime soon

Then disable and re-enable your driver. If you are already getting issues like that, disabling it for a few minutes won't hurt.

Update it to allow the Open GL
