First off this is PC play.
So I have access to one map, and it's a rush map that takes place in a French park that leads down to a subway. Lots of hills and dips, trees, bushes, fountains, masonry, etc. before leading to a wrecked subway station. Graphics are crisp and bright, and the setting really captures the feeling of a large park surrounded by an urban environment quite well.
First thing you notice is the movement. Play is faster, with animations showing you climbing and vaulting things waist high, and where going prone on the run makes you dive to the ground (but not the 8 foot dolphin dive, this one looks a bit more realistic). As you cross terrain in sprint, normal running, crouched and prone, your player's animations match the terrain accordingly. It reminded me of the parkour animations in Brink, with more realistic limits to a normal soldier (i.e. you can't jump and pull yourself up to a ten foot tall ledge, but you can climb over a railing or park bench instead of just jumping over it).
Guns are faction specific; the Russkies are using weapons from the AK line (AK47, AKS74u, RPD), and the US are using NATO weapons (M16, M4, G36C). Grenade throwing range is limited to around 30' or so. Weapons look really nice, with chipped paint and obvious wear. Weapon feel was also good - you start losing control on bursts longer than 4 or 5 rounds, and getting hit markers feels right. Head shots are king as usual. Most weapons take five rounds to kills. Combat knife needs to be drawn before slashing someone. You also have an underbarrel flashlight at your disposal.
Only vehicle on the map is a six wheeled battle wagon with HE cannon, so I can't speak too much about my experience with the vehicles. I can say that after taking RPGs to the wheels you can become immobilized, and that it handles going over the terrain well.
The nature of the map also limits the destruction, as there aren't really too many buildings around. However if you throw a grenade it will uproot trees and they'll provide cover or impede movement. Of course you can take chunks out of walls and knock over sandbag fortifications, stuff like that.
Spotting is more responsive. You don't have to mash the spot key to eventually spot people. Also you can get suppressing fire assists, so even if you don't actually wound an enemy you can get 10 points by keeping them pinned down with suppressing fire. I thought that was a nice touch.
I'll probably be on again later, I'll add to this post if there's anything that jumps out at me or if anyone has any specific questions.
