Thought Black Ops was finished releasing any more DLC? Well, think again! The recent announcement marks the next upcoming downloadable content for the latest series title. Releasing on August 23rd, Xbox 360 gamers will get to experience “Rezurrection DLC” first hand, as it will feature the classic four maps from World At War (Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese) and also introduce a brand new moon style map. Those who were not lucky enough to get their hands on a hardened edition of the game, now have the opportunity to get the old zombie maps for themselves. Being delivered for the normal price of $15, gamers will be able to play the DLC featuring only zombie maps.

Being at least a month exclusive, reports aim Rezurrection to hit the Playstation 3 and PC before September 30th. In addition to these five zombie maps, Treyarch will also be giving those who choose to purchase the DLC, a 20-song Zombies soundtrack and a Moon Xbox 360 theme (Perhaps Playstation 3 theme come time?). Nevertheless, the future holds at least one more map pack for Black Ops, but will you be purchasing it?

*Notice* - For those of you who have the prestige/hardened edition and are wondering about the DLC, some members have snooped around and uncovered some information. Much thanks!

They could have easily come with the game if they'd release it maybe 1 month later.

Really? Last I heard Wii games' developers needed to be paid too...why, then, if they need SO much money, are Wii games usually $50 on release?

Exact same thing with PC. Why are most exclusive PC games at $50? Sometimes even $30?

BECAUSE THEY GOT MORE MONEY FROM PS3 AND XBOX PLAYERS! They buy it more, because more people have those systems, so they increase the price. (I know Wii has more sales, but we know that it's only exclusive games that see the benefit from that.)

This is another situation in need of a different, clearer, example.

Battlefield 3. "PRE-ORDER AT SELECT STORES AND GET YOUR DAY 1 DLC CODE! DON'T HAVE THOSE STORES NEAR YOU? WELL, MISS OUT ON SOME CONTENT THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE!......unless you buy the DLC later and give us more money Smile"

Pre-orders used to ALL be like....well, let's take Dark Souls for example. You pre-ordered it, you got the $90 version. Benefits? Some maps at soundtracks and all that. NO ACTUAL GAME CONTENT.

if they released the dlc with games it would make the games become less entertaining. by releasing dlc periodicly through out the year it allows the game to stay interesting.

and no ones forcing you to buy the shit. its your money spend it how you want.

you also say release it a month later well that makes it december 9th or whatever day. since you know nothing about marketing they want their game on the market long enough to get it in before everyone goes shopping for the holiday. in the US that would be "black Friday" which is still in november.
