About:Tired of wandering aimlessly for PvP, unresponsive admins, laggy servers, lack of content, or just being bored? Then Savage Realms is the server for you! After 2 months of creation and beta testing we have launched to rave reviews. The purpose of this server is for you to log in and be able to have fun! No lag and a professional staff ensure our quick access to PvP through hot spots and tournaments is the best it can be. This is also a server for you non PvP fanatics. Join a clan, explore a dungeon with some friends, get involved in politics, take part in an event, or just build your home or creation! Server Info:

• OPEN PVP - The world is created with PvP in mind. We want you to find PvP and find it now instead of wandering all over. We have designed the world with this idea in mind.
  
• DUNGEONS - Go out solo and farm, find other people farming dungeons to kill for loot, navigate to the end for great rewards, or get a group together to try the more difficult dungeons. Something for everyone to keep people entertained.CLANS - Join a clan or start your own to take part in the ongoing clan warfare of our server.  Work with a clan to create a base, make your own clan's base, or just go rogue and make your own home!
  
• LAG FREE - Proud to say we have had ZERO lag so far! Just ask our members. Also, with increases in population we already have plans to increase hardware to ensure the best lag free experience we can!
  
• ANTI CHEAT - We have one of the best anti cheat systems in place. We have applied tricks to fight hackers on our server not seen elsewhere. Also, with our professional admins if anybody does manage to hack, they are quickly caught and banned. Once again, ask our members.
  
• BALANCED PVP- Not only have we made Gold and Leather Armor/Weapons useful we have balanced PvP to ensure maximum fun, skill, and fairness.
  
• EVENTS/TOURNAMENTS- We frequently have PvP tournaments and both PvP, PvE, and other events. The server has a blast, and the admins love to set new stuff up.

Server Specs

• 50 Player Max server size
  
• Two Dedicated Hyper-Threading Sandy Bridge cores @ 2.5ghz

(50 Max players for now. We are seeing how our hardware handles this load before we up the amount. If it's good, we'll up the player max. If not, we'll up the hardware! )

Battlecraft is the biggest, certainly. However, we have a bunch of functionality not found there or elsewhere. Pretty much every member who has joined and played on our server so far has thought it is the best in regards to minecraft pvp.

Also, we had basically no lag before. When we would have little bits of lag people would claim that we almost felt like a normal server. =p
Now we have upgraded our server hardware and done a few tweaks to how the cpu is handling processes etc. It feels basically like playing on your own machine now. Come check it out if anyone is interested.
