Maintenance, maintenance and more maintenance for gamers, as Sony plans on taking the Playstation Network offline Thursday into Friday morning. It is estimated that Sony Playstation 3 users will be unable to access the PSN network from 17:05(5:05 PM BST) to 03.00 (3AM BST) starting Thursday, August 11th 2011. During this time period gamers will be unable to play online, create new accounts, and or manage account information.

During maintenance, you can not access the following services:
PlayStation Store on your PS3, PSP and PC.
PSN Account Management.

During maintenance you can continue to collect trophies game. PlayStation Network this once again in full swing in your profile.

Though this scheduled maintenance will prevent gamers from being able to sign in, users who stay logged in before the update can remain in this state for the entire duration of the maintenance; however, will be unable to perform any online based actions.
