Well well well, it seems we won't be waiting too long until we're back in control of Ubisoft's assassins. blog.eu.playstation.com have just announced the beta for Assassin's Creed Revelations will be hitting PS+ members on 3rd September.

There will be nine characters available to use in the beta, including The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion. They all currently share the same behaviours unfortunately, maybe we'll see a change in the final product? They do have different animations, however.

There is also three maps available from the start, each tuned to increase varied strategy than in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. The maps include Knight's Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople.

There will be four modes, each unlocked from the start, two from Brotherhood and two whole-new game modes, designed on player feedback. The modes include Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault.

Finally, there will be eight abilities; however only some will be available from the start, others will be unlocked as your rank increases. Some abilities return from Brotherhood, albeit tweaked. Those abilities include Tripwire Bomb, Closure, Disguise, Fire Crackers, Throwing Knives, Smoke Bomb, Poison and Morph.

Assassin's creed is where it's at, the Cod's are getting very repetitive. It's probably time they decided to work on another project.

After 8 or 9 COD games I don't think they know what else they can do :p.

Don't get me wrong Assassin's Creed is fun and all and the landscapes are amazing, but the longevity of the game is what? A week? You might as well just rent it for a week from Blockbuster it'll save you £40.

It's cheaper to buy used then sell it again than it is to rent.

I didn't like the beta, it looks exactly like brotherhood except that it's worse since they deleted the helpful radar..
I really hope they wont add a stupid "reach level 50 multiplayer trophy"
Graphics does look a little better though..

I got it and im playing it atm. Im no ps plus member.

The game is pretty fun. Graphics is crisp and clean. Gameplay is fun.

Check your email for a redeem code from playstation or ubisoft. They sent me one with a redeem code to use in the store.
