Though only a minor detail, Microsoft has decided to slightly alter the look of the 360 once again. It was only last year when the company introduced the slim Xbox 360 which had a sleek new look, as compared to it’s predecessors. Nevertheless, Microsoft has reported that any new manufactured Xbox 360 console will be removed of the gloss finish, and replaced with a standard matte paint scheme.

A representative for the corporation suggests that those who like the idea of a “shiny slim”, to go out and purchase them before they are gone. The new units will hit shelves in the upcoming weeks, and therefore consumers purchase time is restricted.

I am contemplating whether or not to get a 360. I would personally much rather have the gloss finish any day. :p

Yep the Gloss is way better. I just got the Xbox360 250Gb package w/ the Kinect and it's working fine for me now.

Already had a Gloss Finish Xbox :fyea:. Probably won't make a difference, but :fyea:

The Gloss Looks Way Better..

I like the matte finish one. I'm going to get an xbox in the upcoming month or two so yay for me.

Hmm.. am I the only person who's gonna go back to walmart and tell them the xbox doesn't work so I can exchange it for another one (which has the matte finish?) I'd prefer the matte finish over the glossy finish any day.. the finger prints and marks are so noticeable.. plus the matte finish looks boss.

i love my glossy finish on my xbox it looks much better than the normal matte finish
