Gamers in Europe will soon be greeted by Nintendo's latest Wii bundle. It will be coming at a lower price than other systems. It is called "Wii Family Edition"
The bundle currently has no set price. What will make this bundle a deal for some and a dud for other is the fact that, while you are paying a lower price, you will be sacrificing the Wii's backwards compatibility for Gamecube games. That's right, the new Wii will no longer support game play via Gamecube discs. Now as of right now it is thought that ONLY this version of the Wii will not include that feature.
The bundle will include one Wii Motion Plus remote, Nunchuck, Wii Sports, and Wii Party.
Nintendo announced that more bundles would be announced soon. Currently it isn't known whether or not the Wii Family Bundle will be coming to the US.
