Despite the heat between publishing giants Activision and Electronic Arts, game developers of Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 praise highly of each other.

Recently, at GamesCom 2011, MW3′s creative strategist, Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling, sat down with Daniel “zh1nt0″ Matros, community manager for BF3, at the Battlefield 3 booth and played roughly an hour of EA’s highly anticipated new shooter. While some fans may have been nervous about two opposing community giants aiming down sights at each other and strapping C4 to each other’s backs, it was all fun and games to Mr. Bowling and Mr. Matros.

The current competition in FPS is extremely fierce, but it's cool to see game developers come together despite any political storms caused by publishers.

Lol, last week it was still a war. At least people are starting to look at the bright side of this whole MW3/BF3 fiasco.

I'm looking forward to both FPS, but still can't slack because SR3 comes out 6 days after MW3

NO!!! sorry but **** you! call of battlefield would be the worst thing ever. it is safe to say i will buy both games, play mw3 for 50 - 100 hours before i get sick of it, in the mean time i will have 200+ hours on bf3. buy combining both games u **** them both. cod is good for anybody, u pick it up, u run, u shoot, u die, any retard can do it... hence so many little kids playing it, but battlefield is the opposite end of the spectrum... not a million and 1 little kids playing it cos it's "too hard & too slow", that is a very good thing, u dont have little retarded 10 year olds trying to 360 no scopes, instead u have decent snipers getting kills from 1km+ or 1 mile+ by actually using some of they're brains other than "point & shoot". it is safe to say if they ever make this game fps are dead, and for that i will have to find u and 360 no scope u!!!!!!!
