From previous gameplay you have most likely seen how interactive the knifing is in Battlefield 3. However you have only seen it from a first person perspective, ie you are doing the knifing. This video gives you a view from a person watching the knifing taking place.

You can also see some quick-scoping taking place but i do not think that Battlefield is a game in which quick-scoping is needed. In my opinion Battlefield is all about team play and a sniper should sit in a field and provide firing cover for the assault team members.

I gotta admit i never liked Battlefield but this... Looks amazing! i may just get it, along with mw3 and Skyrim.

Just go back to CoD man. Sniping can be important depending on what game mode you play, but no where near the most important. Team work wins the game, not sniping. BF is all about teamwork, not who has the most kills or higher KD. If you play Rush, snipers can pick off people trying to arm/diffuse the bomb, but they have to be good snipers, and unfortunately a lot of them suck. Sniping in conquest isn't the best unless you are good, and by good I mean 1 shot kills at moving targets.

Recon on the other hand. Spotting, spotting, spotting, sensoring, mortaring, spotting can win games. I've racked up over 1000 points without firing a single shot with recon. I helped the team get the bomb.
