Well it seems the fourth DLC for the ever-so-famous Fallout: New Vegas has been dated for Live, PSN, and Steam. Though details were previously known about the upcoming DLC, dubbed Lonesome Road, a release date was finally confirmed and placed on the 20th of September. This downloadable content will be available for the price of 800 Microsoft points, which is an equivalence of $9.99 respectively on both Steam and the Playstation Network.

The plot surrounding the DLC pack sees you being contacted by one of the original Courier six. For those who have played the game, it is the man who refused to hand over the Platinum Chip at the beginning of the title. This extra content will allow gamers to journey one last time with the individual in order to uncover the reasoning for his actions.

Nevertheless, there is also two more DLC packs planned for the not so distant future. Releasing only one week after Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners’ Arsenal will be available for download on the respected platforms September 27th. As far as details go, Courier’s stash will grant gamers allownace to material previously only accessible if you pre-order the game. Gun Runners’ Arsenal on the other hand will implement increased weapons power, as you will have access to new modifications, ammo types, and other numerous perks. Both packs are listed as $1.99 on PSN and Steam, which converts to about 160 Microsoft points.

Will you be making the purchase for any of the upcoming DLC packs? Or will your copy of New Vegas be collecting dust?

I agree. I played new vegas for about a month and then never played it. The reason? I think fallout needs an entirely new engine and the graphics in my opinion are terrible. Some people (like you) kind of just play the main missions and objectives while others (like me) take full advantage of every mission/objective available, and this game has VERY MANY of those little side missions.

Graphics are acceptable, but i think a Fallout game with beautiful graphics and new engine would sell very well. They'd need to put huge amount of time into making that kind of game with all the good aspects of Fallout, but meh.....i can wait

i agree with laney but if you've play fallout as long as i have then it get easy even on the hardest dificulty and hardcore mode i can beat evey mission in tht game with out drinkind 50 bottles of water on hardcore(it just depends on the kind of water you get people, i look mainly for high water level decreaseing drinks no alcolhol some food but not much and little selcetion of guns on me i hide my gun olntop of good springs store after i get a crate up der then i hide all xtra stuff in a differ crate on other side of roof (smaller roof) but try it its really easy and get guns all da way up and repair so your guns will always kill 1 hit maybe 2 or 3 but my guns have never been more then a 6 bullet kill.)

My character is a 100 stat guy, stood outside of the exit to the 1st DLC. I am waiting for all of the DLC to be released so I can do a fallout marathon.
Back to the point. Fallout New Vegas is an amazing game with such a diverse selection of things you can do with your time on it. You may think one play through is enough. How wrong your are.

I like the Fallout series, played 1 to 3 including all the DLCs but for NV I'll just wait for the GOTY edition.
