NGU Community Mod
So recently I have gotten into modding Minecraft, and I would say that I am fairly experienced in it now, so I have come up with this as the best way to utilise this. My idea is that we all chip in ideas for what we would like to see in Minecraft, and me and more coders (if there are any) would help to make those ideas become reality.

Modders
If you are a Minecraft modding genius, or if you are just starting out then please contact me either via this thread or by PM and I will be happy to have you on the team. All of these mods are made with ModLoader so make sure you are using that!
Minecraft Players
If you love Minecraft but really think that they should add something to the game, post your ideas below and I will try my best to make the mods for those ideas. You will be given credit for submitting an idea plus I will send you your mod separate so you can play Minecraft with your mod!

Carbon Dust can be smelted to give Diamond Shards

9 Diamond Shards makes a Diamond

Alternatively, you can craft an Oil Bucket using 6 Carbon Dust above a Bucket

Which can be used as a fuel in the Furnace. It is a lot stronger than a Lava Bucket, and fuels 512 things to be smelted!

Also, you can surround a Raw Fish in Carbon Dust to create a pack of [s]64[/s] 32 Cod Liver Oil, which heals 2 hearts =D

If you want a big project, you can try to design an ore that makes tools that are as effective as Gold, but as sturdy as Iron. :p
Also, try to make the Carbon dust look less like gunpowder. Its a little hard to distinguish.
Maybe even try to make different types of wood. And maybe try to design randomly generating volcanoes :p (Would require a pre-build)

Yeah I knew about the carbon dust I might make it look totally different I haven't decided yet
also that tools thing should be fairly easy plus I have a new type of wood in the apples trees so it's all good =D also I don't think I will worry with volcanoes as notch has said that he will be adding them in at a later stage
