Optional Texture Pack

Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360 will ship on two DVD discs: one for singleplayer and one for multiplayer. However, one of the discs will also contain a “high resolution texture” optional install, where users can install the high res texture pack for better visuals. Apparently, the optical drive of the Xbox 360 doesn’t have enough bandwidth to stream the high-res textures, so users will have to give up some free space on their harddrive if they want prettier graphics.

It has also been confirmed that the PlayStation 3 version will also ship with the same optional texture pack install on the Blu-ray disc.

PS3 and 360 will have minimal differences at best, PC obviously will beat both Consoles in graphics, but that's been known for a while.

i agree with you. but the reason fir the poll is to see if people notice any difference in the graphics as they are made slightly different

plus why cant any f***er understand that once you complete the FIRST disc I would ONLY be playing the SECOND disc for multiplayer, that means all the multiplayer will only be on ONE DISC

Both Consoles are great and I've owned both PS3 and Xbox. I prefer PS3 simply because of the unmatched exclusives is has too come with it and the Blu-Ray. It's simply the best package.

console wars are so immature. usually the person who only has a ps3 is raving about how shitty xbox is and vice versa. both systems have perks and both have cons. play whatever the **** you like. will you really notice a difference in graphics for bf3? the answer is no. if you really want quality, go build a gaming pc load up two 560s or two 580s and play on ultra.

Agreed. altho me and the majority of others agree xbox has a better service and XMB and i play ps3
