Yes black ops one the award for best shooter, but did it really have much competition this year?? I can't really think of another shooter game that had as much hype as Black ops did, since release its grown and grown and has still been voted best shooter despite having a large amounts of complaints from players. I must agree that black ops wasn't going to be beaten on this, although killzone 3 and crysis 2 have a large fan base, they would never beat Call Of Duty in a award competition.

Assassins creed has been a favorite of mine since the first game in the series, its just got everything in it, good story line, great action scenes, and you get to play as an assassins, what more could you want?? I love the free running in all of the games, and each year they get better and better. The other games on the list never really appealed to me, mafia 2 was fun but far to short, and portal 2 was such a challenging game, but didn't fit as well under this category compared to Assassins Creed.

This game received a lot of hype after the prologue was released, however it did take them a lot of time to get the full game out, but was it worth it?? After playing the game, i found the graphics to be very attractive, the cars were awesome, but I found that I got bored shortly after playing it for long periods of time. The other games in the Racing category never appealed to me as much as GT5 did, thus I never brought them. Would you say GT5 deserved the award for this category??

Now this was an obvious win, no sports game will beat FIFA, football being one of the most popular sports on the planet, the games has been played all year round since release, no other football games come out that make you think twice about getting fifa. Compared to other sports games, FIFA has the largest fanbase and deserved to win this award.

Best shooter call of duty black ops i laugh hahahhahahaha

as much as people hate it, it still has a huge fanbase and i dont want to sound like a fanboy but In my opinion there was nothing this year that could compete with it. it had a great story, awesome multiplayer, and to top it off zombies.

Black ops and a award? golden joysiq U FAIL

Yeah the story and zombies are great, but multiplayer is boring as hell. Plus the zombie maps in WaW were much better than these Black Ops ones.

Hence why they were brought out in a map pack.
