GTA 5 Trailer Coming November
Source: You must login or register to view this content.// By: Wondoh // 25th October 2011

The first official look at Rockstars new GTA game will hit the web on the 2nd of November according to the official website. The new logo as seen above people seem to believe is another hint to the location where the game will be set, LA/San Andreas was the original rumour but now with the logo the dollar-bill themedV is taken as another hint pointing at LA.

No word on what the trailer will actually show yet, maybe just a basic story outline, maybe a in depth look at the game, well with 8 days to go, we will find out soon enough.

Who is excited about the new GTA set to hit stores early next year?? Smile

Here are a few more rumors which could be proven true or false from the trailer.....

The technology used in L.A. Noire could also be used in the making of GTA 5. The face motion scanning, which allows very detailed capture of human facial expressions was first seen in LA Noire which helped you tell if someone was lying or had something to hide.
A reason while this is purely just a rumor and could be proven false is that the scale on which GTA is set is huge! The amount of recording they would have to do based on how many characters we have seen in previous titles is ridiculous. Not only how time consuming it is, but also its an expensive technology.
No confirmation if this will defiantly be used or if they will use the basic character method similar to GTA IV

GTA 5 to have returning characters?

There have been a couple hints that some characters may be returning to the new game, firstly Patrick “Packie” McCrery was one of Niko's friends in GTA IV and was seen at the end of the DLC pack Ballad Of Gay Tony during the credits, entering the airport, why would they show him jetting off somewhere?? a hint that he could be one character coming back into the series.

The next one who you may not know is James Pedeaston, a radio host who was arrested in Sri Lanka for child molestation. A leaked quote about a character appearing in GTA 5 was “a man-boy love activist who just got released from an Indonesian prison.” Which looks like an almost certain return. I honestly don't remember this character.

I'm hoping the new trailer will show a lot about the game, including characters, graphics, settings, story etc

What are you hoping to see from the trailer??

Can't wait man, I just hope it isn't another flop like GTA IV, but who cares? It's GTA! I'd pay £100 for any new GTA.

It's nothing compared to San Andreas though, the main problem with IV for me was that although fun for a while roaming got a bit boring and there was nothing major to keep you playing any further, you could roam around on SA (as I did) for hours on end.

But for me, the main changes I want to see made to V (although it may seem uneeded and unimportant) are the customizable elements that were added in in SA and taken out in IV put back in. One of the main highlights of SA for me was getting your haircut, getting tattoos and going to the gym lol.

The "V" looks SA style, if that makes sense.
