According to EEDAR (Electronic Entertainment Design and Research) analyst Jesse Divnich, Grand Theft Auto 5 could launch in November 2012.
After games publisher Take Two extended their deal with Rockstar, Divnich picked November 2012 as the perfect time to launch GTA 5. He told NowGamer "The market has been over-saturated with FPS that there is and will be considerable demand for sandbox action based titles for the next 3 years." He then went on to say that he believes that GTA 5 would crush any competitors within the holiday window.
I agree with Divnich. I think that people will want a change from all of the regular holiday releases and play something a little different, especially a game with as a high reputation as GTA. A November release is also beneficial for myself as it is my birthday that month, although I would get it any time of the year due to the endless amounts of fun the game will bring us.
Look out for the trailer on November 2nd.
