i cant fight any instructions as to how to melee(fight with fists)

Well thanks for the link, i guess, and I'm well aware of the search function, which i've used plenty of times.
With that being said, i previously searched,and already discovered the set of videos that you linked me to.

Granted the video is a walkthough, but like at the part im in, in the video, it just shows our character punching and fighting the dude and knocking them out. IT DOES NOT REMOTELY SHOW HOW TO PUNCH, KICK, FIGHT, ETC. Meaning, doesnt show which buttons to hit to actually fight(melee)

So next time, before you be so pressed to quickly sass about a search function, try to actually read my topic in detail and try to be of actual help, instead of being an asshat.

I dont want a video to show the character fighting, I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ACTUALLY FIGHT, i.e. the buttons sequences to do so!

change the difficulty to normal or hard

^^^ sad to say its on EASY mode (the lowest easiest possible)

i just need to now what keys to hit to fight well

(im on the PC version by the way but use my PS3 contoller remotely with it)

Have you looked in the controller function part of the game?

um yes i have, it says F to pull out knife, which doesnt work
a E is always on the screen
and a picture of a mouse shows up
i know that R1 will throw a punch, but seems to be the only meleee movement,which doesnt punch all the time, and which doesnt do what the walkthough shows

um, to save us all time, maybe only people that have played the game and have fought people in melee should respond
because that way all they have to do is tell me what buttons they are hitting....

I was struggling with that part yesterday on easy mode, I felt like a retard :wtf:
If I remember correctly you have to press E and left mouseclick when the icons are flashing in the screen. (Check which controller buttons correspond E and mouseclick)
