What if we're 11th Prestige on MW2? Will we receive tokens as well, or are the tokens only introduced to promote legitimacy?

No first time ever that dub xp has been on 2 cods at same time as cod4 is permanent dub xp =p. Not slightly longer dub xp either as it sometimes goes onto Tuesdays. And y would it persuade u to prestige for some stupid tokens? Lol . And y wouldn't younger kids go out trick or treating and play cod instead? Lol if they stay in there sad acts! Also how could u get those final ranks on "Modern warfare 3" if it's not out yet? Lol =p. And to finish this post off cod doesn't have much less players maybe like 15,000? Lol out of like 415,000 =p. Not all people who have prestiged in cod have got BF3 as BF3 is TERRIBLE!

The double XP weekend for both Black ops and Modern Warfare 2 starts later on today.
This is the first time in Call of duty history that double xp has taken part on two different games at the same time.
Also this double xp weekend is slightly longer than usual running from Friday 28th October to Tuesday 1st November.

What is this for?
As everyone knows Modern Warfare 3 is just around the corner and the "prestige shop" has recently been detailed. For each previous game you have prestiged in you will get 1 token. There was a lot of confusion if it was 1 per prestige but there is a max of 4 tokens to be collected.

Will this be used to persuade those who like to stay at Rank 50 and not prestige, to finally hit the prestige button and get the tokens? I know I plan on prestiging on Mw2 as I don't see myself going back on it after Mw3 is released.

So will you be trick or treating this weekend or getting up those final ranks on Black ops and Modern warfare 2 to get those all important prestige tokens.

However Call of duty may see a lower amount of players this weekend as Battlefield 3 was released this week. If you have already prestiged in COD then like me you will be giving Battlefield a go.

If I'm not mistaken, it's 2x XP across all CoD games. Including CoD4, and [email protected] saw a video with R. Bowling in it and I'm pretty sure that's what he said.

On all the articles online it only mentions Mw2 and Black ops. I believe this is becuase COD4 already has permanent Double xp and so does WaW? I dont have WaW so cant check :y:
thats why its for Mw2 and black ops as they are still currently on the normal xp rate
