Back to Karkand will bring four maps from Battlefield 2 into the Frostbite 2.0 environment and feature ten new weapons, dog tags, achievements/trophies, persistence system, and three new vehicles (F-35B STOVL (fighter jet), BTR-90 (APC), DPV (IFV)). No set date was revealed other than December. PS3 users will probably gain access to this pack one week early after losing out on a free copy of BF1943.

During yesterday's investor conference, EA's Frank D. Gibeau stated that "the next 6 months is to have a very robust set of expansion packs."
