EA's latest football game, FIFA 12, hit the stores at the end of September and soon became "the fastest selling sports game of all time". Considering EA's experience in the gaming trade, including their various FIFA releases, you would have thought through all their years of experience; that their latest title FIFA 12 wouldn't have had a single glitch, but as far as it goes, this is quite a big one.
You must login or register to view this content. has revealed that a
certain technique has enabled you, in the hack finder's words, to "successfully purchase various HIDDEN packs that EA don't release to the general public". Through game testing carried out by
our users, we can be certain that these packs can be used on the online FIFA Ultimate Team mode; consisting of variations of the Gold, Silver and Bronze packs we know today - which allow you to buy even more players in the standard packs or possibly have a greater chance of getting you a Wayne Rooney! For example, we have found a Premium Silver and a Jumbo Bronze, as well as far more, including gold packs with more Rares that are far cheaper than their standard versions.
The potential that this hack doesn't stop there though. It could eventually expand into being used for changing the amount of coins a user has, or even purchasing items for free. As far as screw-ups go, this could have easily been prevented. EA has yet to comment on these findings, so the punishments have not been established.
If there are any updates, either I or another member of news team, will update this thread; possibly a tutorial upon release.
